Hello! I’m Abigail (or Abi). I am a dedicated Creative Arts Therapist and Counsellor with a passion for supporting women/woman-identifying to find meaning and connection in their lives. I hold a breadth of experience as a Creative Arts Therapist, having worked in aged care, disability and private practice, in both individual and group facilitation settings. I hold a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Master of Creative Arts Therapy (Dance and Movement), and am registered with the Australian and New Zealand Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA), and the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
Prior to embarking on my therapeutic career, I worked in the corporate world, and in the arts - all while studying full-time. I know all too well the toll that juggling it all can have. Stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, navigating life changes and low confidence are common challenges faced by so many. Using my blend of dance- and body-based work alongside traditional counselling, I support people to connect with themselves and build their lives around their core values.
I draw on techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and trauma-informed practices to foster personal growth, creative expression, and confidence. I strive to create a space where everyone feels heard, values, and empowered. My genuine enthusiasm for helping others enables me to adopt a person-centred, relational approach.

I am so excited to move alongside you (get it?!) on your journey towards leading the life you want! Book a free 15-minute consultation now by sending an email to [email protected], or by submitting your contact details via the “Contact” page.
